  • Cracked Dash fixed !

Wow, i must say these forums contain LOTS of usefull information. A quick "search" and i found all the information i needed to install my new defroster panel. Removed the pilars, and pop'ed up the old cracked one.

GM qouted me $225 at the least to install, a 3 hour job around 75 an hour pay. There is no need to unbolt the dash at all. Damn them, i would have had to pay if not for all you v6 guys out there! Thanks!

I'm been out bid on ebay EACH time, i tried like 5 times for one. So i checked GM price and was only $150, on ebay starting bid was 50, and quickly 75/near 100 plus shipping. So i just purchased directly from gm dealer parts.

The big plastic dash panel that goes from each side up to the glass is GM part # 10410583. I paid $86.66 from www.GMpartsdirect.com.

I'm sure there is a difference between 93-97 and 98-02, however.
