I clean my car alot but there is one thing that I can never get to look good! The windows I can never get to be nice and clean. Mine always have streaks and when I try to see out of it its really bad! I dunno what to use to get the windows nice and clean without all the streaks that make it hard to see out of... So is there anything I could use that would make it look better? I need help!!
seriously, after you wash the car dry the windows off really good. Usually you can just do it with a chami and then go over it with another dry cloth and the windows will look great, but if you want them to be really really clean, use windex after the windows are dried.
just don't use them on the inside if you have tint. To clean the tint, just use water and a wash cloth, then dry it up so its not streaky.
FYI its "Chamoi" but, try cleaning your windows with a clean terry-cloth towel, out of direct sunlight, and ensure the glass surface is cool to the touch.
Newspaper doesn't work any better than a towel, and if you think newspaper is good on glass - try rubbing newspaper between your hands and then look at them...that black stuff that rubbed off is ink, that you are now applying to your windows. So you trade streaks for an obstructed view????

FYI, FYI it actually is Chamois or Chamoix.
Newspaper ink does rub off on your hands, but for some strange reason (sorry I'm not Mr. Chemist)it doesn't smear on windows. Don't imagine that the tiny scratches can be good for the surface over the long run.
