Anybody know if they make CLEAR lenses for the firebird??? Kinda like the blackouts except these are just a clear lense I know they made them for the thirdgen camaro, but i've been thinking about making some designs for my tailights in black but with the shape of the firechicken when I hit the turn signals.

thanks.

hey man whats up haven't heard from you in a while. I've searched everywhere and I can't seem to find any clear ones just the regular blackouts, im still thinkin' of using the 98+ tailights but I was kinda lookin' for something unique kinda the the sequential tailights, if all else fails Im just going to tint the mofo's w/ 2 layers one w/ the design and one w/out. I hope you guys understand the idea that I have for the tail lights.

Thanks.

Yeah, the 98+ tail lights are nice. I regularly see them selling on eBay. Just search on "firebird tail light" and comb over the results. Only problem is, there is alot of interest and the bidding jacks up the price quite a bit. Here is a current one going on -- with 5 days left, they are already at $76 ->> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

I saw a trans am on ebay a while back who made his tailights all clear like your talking about. There is a way to take the red off from inside. You could get an extra set to experiment on and try various ways of removing the red film inside.

HOLY SH!T SOMEONE RESPONDED TO THIS THREAD?
Ted, thats exactly what I was talking about. Id settle for 98 and up taillights but they're a lil' pricey and those clear ones look nice just didn't know if anyone had done that mod.

I don't think they are that pricey. I see them in ebay all the time for a good price.
