  • Incomplete Turbo pics!

Here are a few pics of how my turbo setup is run. These are pics from before the project was completed, but it'll still give everyone an idea how everything is run.

Here's my FMIC. It was custom made for this car. the measurements are 24x12x3 w/ 2.5" inlets.

    The finished intercooler install....

That intercooler was installed a few months before the fabrication of the turbo kit took place. That's why i still have that whisper lid with red tape on it.. :D

Here's the crossover pipe. I really wanted to stay with the Pace Setter headers that are already on the car, so we used the y-pipe that came with them and cut into it to make the new turbo y-pipe.

Here's a closeup of the connection we used from the headers to the up pipe.

This is the up-pipe from the front of the car.

I'll post some more pics as soon as i get them Emailed to me!

thats kinda a long distance to run the piping to the turbo, i cant immagine it being very efficient but my god that looks clean. hope to see the #'s... and maybe a picture of the actual turbo (just curious how you have that side set up).

The LT1 rear-mount kit sees awesome gains and awesome performance, and their turbo is mounted all the way back by their muffler, then the intake pipes run all the way back to the front. The length of the pipes is only one SMALL part of the equation of turbo system efficiency.

I'll post the complete system pics when i get them.. they're currently on my buddy's digicam. Don't worry though, i'll post all the pics everyone could ever want when i get the chance :D
