• Exhaust and ground effects....need opinions and answers

Anyone know if its possible to just get the REAR portion of ground effects somewhere. I don't have the $$ right now for a full groundefx and multiple paint jobs for the different pieces. I have quad tip Loudmouth exhaust, and i just think it would look even better with some 'body' around the exhaust tips/pipes if you know what i mean. Anyone agree, have experience or know if its possible? TIA

correct me if im wrong, but the peice that is made for the exhaust is not made to go with GFX....it is even with the rest of the car...like the SS, it only has the back peice and would look funny if you put GFX on it....so rethink things before you do them

As far as I know there are very few kits for our cars. And if you mean what I think you mean as to body around the tips there is no such kit for sale. I think the bird of prey trans am might hav something like that but the kit is not and will never be in prodution (unless my prayers ae answered) So what we have to work with is the wings-west W-type body kit. Go look at wingswets.com or better yet go to ebay and look at the firebid with the nifty paint job that has th ekit, makes it look somuch better. Ne ways it sucks but for us there arent many options.

Yeah, it sucks, i know there won't be a kit commercially for sale. I was just wondering what options i had. It looks bad by no means, i like it; i just think it would be cool if it blended in more with the car. I'm sure you all know what i mean; the camaro body just looks a little different w/ new pipes out the back. Ground effects would be cool. Maybe i'll save for the whole set.

You are correct, but the back bumper of the 4th gen camaros is higher than the rest of the car anyway. GFX in the rear would still look pretty good i think, but who knows, i'm not rushing into anything...... photoshop anyone? ;)

They do just sell the rear portion; check it out:

I'm not doing anything right away, but look at the pics. The back would definatly not be lower than the side or front stock. I just don't know though. Anyone else have an opinion or know how to photoshop? :D

Kind of... thats the idea. But i already have the exhaust. Its the loudmouth dual/dual tips (two on each side). That setup is sweeet though.

Just wish i could get a better idea of how it would look w/ just the rear piece. Also if it would work right w/ my setup. Looks like it would since i have the quad exhaust setup. Dunno?

This is the cheapest place to get new Wings West products without a doubt. You have to call for prices, but believe me, its worth it.

ps, they are an authorized WW dealer:

Thanks Loochy and all you guys... looks like i could get it pretty cheap. Now the second issue. Do you all think it would look good? I just double checked today. The back camaro bumper definately sits higher than the rest of the car. You think just the rear section would look good? okay? It would be different and probably look closer to ground level.. w/ matches the stock front almost. All opinions appreciated, cause i'm really not sure right now. I had the idea but wasn't confident i'd actually have some options! :D
