Installing Trans Am Rocker panels on a Firebird

Just wondering if anyone ever tried to install Trans Am rocker panels (GFX) on a firebird. Any tips or problems that anyone ran into? Got a set here in my room and trying to figure out the best way to get em on.

Naw these are the side effects below the doors. They aren't affected by the front or rear bumper.

I installed my 2 weeks ago... PITA :mad:
you need to drill lots of holes on the body.
YOU HAVE TO MEASURE THE LENGTH of each hole and use a marker to mark them... they have to be EXACT location that the little clips will be pushed into... also you need to use little screws to hold the whole piece from the bottom... you need to lift the car up... good luck.

I forget exactly what it's called but I install lots of groundeffects where I work at, we use this rubber adhesive molding stuff (ahh i forget the name any help here?) But basically put that the edge of the sideskirts to keep it intact with the body. 2 screws should be enough to hold each side up. Just get someone to hold it and align it. It should be fairly simple.

you could use the 3M double sided tape, thats what Wings West uses to put there gfx on and then just put 2 screws on each end of the peice. Its worked great for me.

YEa thought about 3M double sided tape, but decided against it, I want something that will hold for a long time. That adhesive that Ted explained, that might be a little easier than drilling into the body, these are the actual rocker panels of a 2002 Trans Am so they are not after market like Wings West. There are plenty of screw holes available for the bottom, its just where it touches the body that i am worried, i would rather not start drilling holes in the body.
Ted, do you know where i could find that stuff you were talking about.

you HAVE to drill holes on the body in order to put on the TA ground effects, no other alternative ways to do it... tape won't work. I tried and it fell off... 3M heavy duty double side tape.

measure the clips and mark them on the body and drill the holes CAREFULLY.

Now when you drilled the holes, you just drilled normal round holes right, you didn't have to make them into square holes or anything. Cuz in my shop manual it looks like the holes are square. And just one other thing, for the two bolts that go through the body towards the front, what kindof nut fits that
