home made clear coners

i am makeing my clear corners for the rear of my firebird does anybody know how to get the red factory covers off. it seems like it is glued on there i wanted to pull it off with out breaking it.

Im not for sure but I think you might be able to use like a hair dryer and get the plastic softer then it will peel off. But i'm not for sure on that one, but I have heard of people doing it.

Are you talking about the tailights or the rear sidemarkers? Because I did the rear sidemarkers on my car.

There is a way to clear out your tailights on Firebirds. The problem is that you need the rectangle styled lights found on 93-97 Trans Ams (not the honeycomb style found on current Firebirds and TAs). I don't know how to do it, but I've seen pictures of people that have done it.

oh god, please don't do this. I know a few peopel that tried to do this, if you want to take off the red, just know that no matter what you do, all the red won't come off, and it will end up looking PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
