  • Hyperwhite Bulbs for 1993-1997? Please Read!

In on of my stints surfing the web all night I stumbled across this website. It appears that they sell hyperwhite bulbs for the 1993-1997 Camaro factory fog lamps. Scroll down the page and look for bulb 885. I'm not sure what they are going to look like, but I ordered a set and will let you all know when I get them in.

    Website is: http://www.hyperlights.com/prod01.htm

Please let me know what y'all think. It miught just be too good to be true that someone finally made a brighter bulb for that factory lights, but who knows.

Those lights are not much brighter at all. I used ot have them in and had a major problem with them blowing after only a month or so. Due to the fact that it was a hassle to change the bulb everytime and it was getting expensive to replace them, I gave em up.

Well I got those bulbs, and I noticed a huge difference. Finally a bulb to match my headlights. I have the Sylvania Silverstars for headlights and these fogs are a little bit brighter than those. I'd rather have it that way, then have bright headlights and dull fogs. As far as them blowing in about a month, I guess I'll have to wait and see, but rest assured that I will keep those of you updated that care.

I'll post some pics tonight when it gets dark so, you all can see what I mean.

Also, I ended up buying them off the same guy on ebay for $20, so I'll get his name and stuff when I go home (still at work).

no they are the fog lamps. I think the headlight harness in the 97 is different then the ones in 93-96, allowing us to use just regular 9006 bulbs in the factory bulb housing.

Okay, I took some quick pics of the new fogs. For those of you that don't know, I already have the silverstar bulbs in my headlights, and you can go to my sounddomain site to see what the fogs looked like before the new bulbs, they were dull and orange looking. They match really well with the Silverstars; I can't really tell you that it improved visability, because I don't ever drive with just the fogs.
