I just got some of these decals for my birthday. I've got stock calipers and was curious how you guys prepped the surface before attaching the decals.

I saw a Corvette at the dealer with the decals, and I really liked the kinda unfinished look.

    remove the wheel
clean the surface with rubbing alcohol
peel off the decal, dont touch the back adhesive.. center it, align and stick it
    press down firmly

Yeah it's really easy. I need to get some new ones mine are already peeling and it's only been like 6 months or so.

Where do you get those decals at? I found a guy that sells them with the calipers painted and stuff but I want to see the normal decals!

What if you have painted calipers? Wouldn't rubbing alcohol strip the caliper paint? Maybe soap and water would be a better idea?

I bought mine from a guy, his SN is LS1vettecya..

and what I said was taken straight from his instruction guide. He said at the top of it that he suggest using painted calipers, then step one is to clean with alcohol. So I couldnt tell either way from experience, I stuck them on regular, stock calipers
