Is there anything else you can use instead of these name brand items? I've heard of people using Iceguard (roof covering?) and something called Peal n Seal from Homedepot. Anyone know anything about this or any others?

BROWN BREAD, thats the cheapest and best deadening thing out there.. idunno if it exists in the U S of A

We used this in our vette like this guy did (duct insulation, $15/roll) and it killed a lot of the noise! I'm going to do my car in it.

sweet. $15 a roll. Sounds much cheaper than the others :D . I just hope it dosen't have a smell to it!
