    anyone ever have trouble mounting a 98-02 to a 93-97 camaro, i went to put mine on and it was hell, i had to do major fabrication to it, i bought a wings west, and im not to happy with it dunoo if ill buy from them again

    Like Anaki said they have 2 different front ends. I am not sure why you would order a 98+ hood for a 97 or earlier car. I have recently put on a SS hood but I purchased the correct one for the year of my car.

      holly **** i got my post mixed up i guess thats what u get when u work 11 hour days for 4 days straight then try to stuff online at 5 am in the morning, it suppose to be a 98-02 spoiler, i cant believe i made that mistake, lol ill take the idiot of the month award for that one

          a lot of times aftermarket pieces will require some "finish" work as they call it to fit right.

              i havent done it myself, but have seen it many times. i'm sure you just got a dud or something that needs a little tweeking. its a direct replacement and i'm pretty sure its straightforth.
