Check out AutoOptiks.com.. they offer both the true HID upgrade (450 for each set, low and hi) as well as replacement shells that use component bulbs that you can buy from them (35-50 per pair), at a store like autozone (slightly more) or Leo @ ls1.com (24.95 per pair -- my recommendation). The replacement shells are 50 per set. The shells can only use an H7 bulb, as they are the only component lights that fit our stock bulb connectors. The full upgrade kits (the 450 ones) come with new connectors, a true HID output converter, mounting hardware and the like. Good investment if you drive in fog quite a bit, but not worth it for most people IMHO.

When you go to their site, click on vehicle lookup. Pick 'Pontiac', then 'Firebird Exc. Trans Am' then your year. It will tell you OEM replacement parts, then click the big button at the bottom for the upgrades.

ok so for the kit thing to work all i will need is the light cases and h7 bulbs and it will work any h7 or a specific brand cause i went to a store in my hometown today and took one of ther eh7's out to my car and the things didnt match up. i didnt steal them i know the guy but they didt fit right. but just to get the blue look out of the headlights the cheaper option works correct

They won't fit, what you have to do is at the end of you lighting wire you have to cut that black piece off and put on 2 female connectors so they fit on the the male prongs of the H7, I got the conversion kits from autoopkits and when i started to put them in i had to make a quick run to advanced auto parts to make it work. Hope that helps if not let me know and I will try to take my headlight out and snap a pitcture for you.
