I removed my grill and really like the way to looks except for the holes so I was thinking of putting the grill back and painting it silver to match the rest of the car - anyone have pics? How does a painted grill look?

When I worked at the chevy dealer there was a lady who owned a white 98 Z and she had her grille painted white. I didn't think it looked to good, something to do with the textured surface just makes it look funny. I know what you mean with the holes, I don't realy like them but they don't bother me to much. Someone on here took bondo and covered the three holes for the license plate bracket and covered the three squareish holes on top and bottom and smoothed it out real nice. Looked real good too after he painted it.

You can buy an insert & paint it to match the car.
