I bought 4 of them from WalMart. I cut the back two and sewed them together(long story short) to fit the back.
Took about a week. I like them. I"ve had the fronts in for over a year and there's hardly any fading or wear.1997 silver Camaro RS
T-Type Powered
Looking for a local F-Body club in K/W, Ontario, Canada?

All the pics I have are on the page in my sig. :(
Basically, just get 2 of them, fit the bottom part around the seat and lay the back part up over the folding bench the way you want it to eventually look.
Then cut each one on the inside, leaving enough material to cover the distance between the 2 seats. Pin it where they meet, only up to the top of the bench plus 3 inches.
Then I sewed the 2 seats together. Refit them in the back, cut the tops of the covers off at the top of the bench, plus the 3 inches. At this point you can cut the backs off too. Make sure you have enough material on the outter sides to cover the whole bench and wrap around a bit.
I then used material from the backs that I cut, sewed a big rectangle together from the 2 biggest pieces I cut to go across the width of the bench to hide the back of the seat. Then I sewed that piece onto the rest of it.
Then I sewed velcro straps on the seat covers just under the seat belt shoulder part to meet this big rectangle on the back.
Then 2 long elastic strips with velcro to tie the bottom middle piece(over the hump) to the rectangle piece(these go up the back side).
That way it fits snug.
Then I used the elastics on the seat covers, fastened them to each other with the clips provided under the bucket parts to hold that snug.
Then tuck the excess between the buckets and the back part. That way when you put something or someone back there, it acts as slack so as not to stretch the material too much.
Well that's about it
Took me a week average 2 hours per day for the prototype. I could probably do it a bit faster now, but man has it been worth it. Lots of great comments from people who appreciate that not everyone has $2000 for leather 1997 silver Camaro RS
T-Type Powered
Looking for a local F-Body club in K/W, Ontario, Canada?

I've had three requests to make them for people...so far no one has followed through
$100 US plus the covers if you want me to buy them.
It was a lot of work. Felt great when I finished...
That's okay though...part of me is glad i'm the only one with custom fitting rear seat covers in an F-Body ;)
Good luck if you decide to do it.1997 silver Camaro RS
T-Type Powered
Looking for a local F-Body club in K/W, Ontario, Canada?

the only thing i don't like is the way the fabric looks to be just stretched across so when you sit on en you sink in wont the fabric have a chance to rip?1998 Jet Black Trans-am M6 T-tops
\"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find: knock and it shall be opened unto you:-Matthew 7:7
Old car
http://matthew27529.tripod.com/getsome
NEW CAR
http://garnerebel.tripod.com/

Well, I chose to leave it that way, but I suppose if you wanted to get really serious, you could do something about that.
It won't rip though..guarenteed. IT's really stretchy material and like I said, there's a lot of slack that you tuck in behind the bench part... i've had <ahem> big passengers back there and it's none the worse for wear.
My only concern about making them for someone else is that I may put up with more than someone else would because I made it. You know what i mean?
For example, everytime you put anything back there, it pulls the slack out from the bench, so i have to push it back in
I live with that but would anyone else want to? I dunno 1997 silver Camaro RS
T-Type Powered
Looking for a local F-Body club in K/W, Ontario, Canada?
