tip #1 take ur time, dont rush give urself lots of time so u can go slow and do it right, the first time
tip #2 do a mock set up first, so u know exactly where they are gonna go, u can use tape and tape off exactly where u want them to go
tip #3 get ur self a spray bottle and make a soap/water mixture, spray this on the car before layin the vinyl, it makes it so u can move it around and get it in the right spot, and get a squeegee(sp?) use that to get the water out from under the vinyl when u have it in the right spot
tip #4 take ur time!*1997 Camaro v6 3.8*<br />President of NorCal Sinister Six

Hey... same kit I got, right? Check the sig. I did mine myself.. the instructions they give you are very easy. Just take your time. It was fun putting mine on. Helps to have another person there though but I did mine myself so it can be done.
I wanted a lighter silver but oh well. I bet yours would look good cause its a little bit darker than the car. **!!DO NOT USE THE PLASTIC SQUEEGEE THAT IS PROVIDED WITH THE KIT!!!**
It scratched the living hell out of the first set of vinyl stripes that I installed! And yes, I used plenty of water with a soapy solution. I never took pics because I was so pissed, I ripped them off and wrote the seller an email telling him of my ordeal. He overnighted a new stripe set to me free of charge.
I went to a hobby shop and bought a small rolling pin for $2.50 that is used for model car decals. It worked great on the bubbles and didn't scratch the vinly at all.sigpic

As for tips:
-Start with a clean car. You don't want to lay stripes over any dirt, roadsalt, etc.
-Do not install in direct sunlight because the water dries faster and the stripes will be harder to maneuver.
-Use a spraybottle full of warm water, and one or two drops of dishwashing liquid. Shake, and spray.
-Keep a blowdrier handy to get rid of small wrinkles you may encounter, and to speed the drying process in certain ares...if needed.
-Line up the stripes first with the help of someone, and use some masking tape to mark the spots where you want the stripes to dry. Use a tape measure to get it as close as possible.
-As said, take your time, and make sure you have quite a few hours to kill in the day. Rushing it will show!! Trust me!sigpic

Large bubbles;
Take a pin and poke a small hole on the center of it, and squeeze out the water...pretend it's a zit!
Small bubbles;
Park it out in the sun for a few days. The hotter the sun, the faster the bubbles will disappear. It may take a few weeks or so to finally get rid of the tiny bubbles, but they will evaporate sooner or later.sigpic
