as the title says....do i really need a special tool in order to get the needels off to put my overlays in???

I didn't take mine off either. It took a bit of screwing around but I got my overlays on there without taking them off.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro<br />3.8 V6 M5<br />SLP Cold Air Intake<br />Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers <br />Flowmaster American Thunder Catback<br />Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

I used a fork to take mine off. Just make sure you put all the needles back exactly the way they came off. Not many cops will take the excuse that you redid your guages when you get pulled over for doing fourty-two in a twenty-five, lol.95 Firebird, 3.4l. 4 sponsors, more on the way.
