I'm going to try painting my new front clip myself. Do you think I could get away with a Urethane primer, paint and clear or do you think I should get a flex additive and spray it with a gun?

      -clean dustfree area to paint
-a couple heat lamps to help cure the paint
-wear a paper suit and resperator so you don't get any hair, body dust, (etc) on the paintjob
      -like mentioned, get good paint
-wetsand before primer, after primer, & after painting before applying clearcoat
      -take your time
-make many small even coats. One heavy coat will run and look like shyt

the paint will hold fine and look allright without the additive, just dont expect a pretty aftermath if you bend it a bit too much.

Kinda a bit of an old post, but take Pre/Post pics if you can. I'm looking at doing the same thing so some advice and pics would be awesome.
