I found an awesome website where I am going to get the decals for the firebird badges on the doors and the pontiac on the back of the car. For anyone who has put them on or knows about putting them on, I was wondering if you put clearcoat on after? I'm worried about them coming off when I wash it. Also I dont keep it in the garage so it gets exposed to the elements a lot. Thanks.

Question About Decals

Mine are peeling around the edges just a little. I figure that I will just replace them sometime this summer. They have been on since Aug 2003. Just make sure you apply them to a very clean surface cause mine arent doing bad at all right now. My car stays outside too.1998 Silver Firebird
Basic mods... nothing real special but it sure looks good!
maleetpobanz.com

check out my car the strips are all decals. all you have to do is soak and soapie your entire sufface where your working and keep it soaked untill it's place where you want it. then you would use a plastic piece to press the water out and use like a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat it up and that bad boy isn't going anywhere. you'll be fine. just the trick is to keep it wet and soapie.

Haven't used the soap idea yet, but my decals have been on for about 2.5 years. I also have not done body stripes. I don't drive my car in the snow, but I would recommend the hair dryerZaino; FireBatCave Decals; Red Inside

K&N Filter & Lid; Removed MAF screen; FRA; Raised Air Box; 180°F Stat; BMR STB; 3\" Catco & S-pipe; Borla Cat-Back; O2 Sim; HPPIII; NGK TR55s; Taylor 8mm wires

http://www.cardomain.com/id/cbass300

I put clearcoat over my caliper decals, but no don't put it over any decals on the body. Just use the soap and water method discussed earlier to put them on. Works great.
