lets see.. this is why im thinking of doing so.. The front piece is not ont he car, when i put it on it sags.. the sides are ****ed up.. screws missing and its making the car look cheap. AND the back piece is broken up becausei was ****en rear ended and its just loose. but im afraid my car will look eh without the body kit. its a tough decision. what do you guys think/?
or how much do you think it would cost for a professional body shop to fix the body kit and put it back on for me as if it came from the factory?

It's easy to tighten-up a GFX kit. Add a few screws where necessary, and glue and clamp the sagging parts in place until they are solid. Can't answer on the back piece, since I don't know how it needs repair..

ok so when putting the front piece back on, what compound can i use to pretty much glue it to the body? even with the screws in place it sags a good half inch. I will also take pictures of the body kit and how bad it is. All the damage happened to my car while i was in highschool. i think jealous ****s took screws out and **** cause those wouldnt just magically unscrew. or pop out.
But thanks for the compliments on the car! it has a lot of work that needs to be done. lots of flaws and dings and scratches

If you're sure that you will never want to take them off again, you can't beat the gel super glue stuff. just pull the piece down, carefully apply a thin line of glue to the back side, the hold it firmly in place for at least thirty seconds. TADA! Tight as can be. You can use someting less permanent by applying and then clamping for a few hours.
I know how it is with jealous jerks in high school. I had a hole cut in my convertible top, curse words scratched in my door, and once even had the lugnuts removed from one wheel. Guess I wasn't too popular, or was it that I WAS too popular! HA! Good luck..

yeah the super glue is going to hold for a couple of hours and taadaaaa
why not try a few new self tapping screws? if the holes you are using now are all worn out drill a couple new ones. completely remove the abused pieces and refit them. have someone help you hold the piece on place and screw it on in new places.
I'd say fix them, because I'm assuming that the Camaro kit is held on the same way as my Firebird. If you take it off you'll have to take off the tracks that hold them on, which are rivited to the bottom side of the car. So you'll just be left with a bunch of holes where the kit used to be.
On many GFX there are no places to put extra screws, but I don't know about the factory ones. As for the glue, no, if you apply it right, you couldn't get it back off if you wanted to.
