  • Got my new: bumper, clears, and emblem *PICS*

Well my car was finally finished today (someone backed into my front end). I asked for a new emblem and they put a carbon fiber one in which I actually kinda like. I also had them put my clear corners in.

Yea, I noticed that as well after I posted this thread... it appears that when the guy taped off the area he was spraying with the flex paint, he missed the line a little :( . I'm just going to tape it off tomorrow and paint the white in with some touchup paint I have, shouldn't look too bad.

I didn't want to because the guy saved me $400 by fixing it himself. It's really not that big of a deal to me. I'm going to fix it today.

touch-up paint is going to leave marks and imperfections from the brush. If you can, I'd spray it on- it'll leave a smooth finish

Spray it with paint from GM made specifically for your car. Go to a Chevy dealership (or call first) and give them your make, model, year, color, ect. They have the spray to match the car. It comes in a small can. Mask off that area and give it a couple of light coats to match it up. After if dries, if there is still a seam, you can compound it out or use 1400 grit sandpaper and water to smooth it out by hand (wetsanding), then use 3M hand glaze to finish it off and it will look like it was professionally done.
