Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper Chevrolet
Removal Procedure
Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Remove the push-in retainers located under the fascia.
Remove the bumper fascia nuts.
Remove the bumper fascia bolts.
Lower the vehicle.
Remove the rear end finish panel.
Remove the spare tire and jack.
Remove the upper push-in retainers from the top of the fascia.
Remove the harness connector rosebud clip from the fascia.
Disconnect the rear body wiring harness connector from the fascia wiring harness connector.
Remove the rear bumper fascia from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install the rear bumper fascia to the vehicle.
Connect the rear body wiring harness connector to the rear fascia wiring harness connector.
Connect the harness connector rosebud clip to the fascia.
Install the upper push-in retainers to the top of the fascia.
Install the spare tire and jack.
Install the rear end finish panel.
Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Notice
Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Install the bumper fascia bolts. Tighten
Tighten the bumper fascia bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
Remove the bumper fascia nuts. Tighten
Tighten the bumper fascia nuts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
if you want a better look for a dual exhaust get the trans am bumper cover. if you have or plan on dual exhaust go ahead and get it, its not any more money than the firebird cover. seach ebay too, there are good deals on there for this sometimes.

someone put a gun to my head and paint the walls with my brains. no i cant read. a camaro would look really odd with a trans am bumper... god i feel like a moron, and rightfully so.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
