I recently got my windows tinted... 20% on the sides, 5% in the back. The sides look great, but the back is kind of dissapointing. Where I had them tint it 5%, he had to use two sheets of tint to cover the huge window, and where the two sheets meet in the center, you can see a slight gap in the tint. Are there any ways to fix this without having them take the tint off, and put 20% on the back? I know years ago they made "spray tint"... is anything like that still made?

I'd make them redo it, or demand your money back and get it done at a good shop, I wouldn't let that slide. A good shop will have pieces big enough to do it with one sheet.97 White Pontiac Firebird 3.8 A4
Mods- 2.75\" exhaust, Dynomax muffler, magnaflow cat, SLP CAI, Hypertech 160* thermo, Fan switch
Suspension-Kumho Ecsta 712\'s, 32mm/19mm sway bars

Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don\'t fail us now.
-Elwood Blues

Like whiteshark said, a good shop would have done the rear in one piece. And even if he used 2 pieces for the rear, it shouldn't have the gap between them.2002 Arctic White Firebird W68
Installed: FTRA, Carbon Fiber Whisper Lid, K&N Filter, Transgo Shift Kit, Corvette Servo, 160º Thermostat.
Appearance: Potenzas RE750 245\'s, 3M Tint 20% All Around, Clear Corners.
FOR SALE: HPP3

Took my car back to the shop that did the tint... he said as long as he uses 5% it will be that way, but he could use 20% and it wouldn't. I told him just to do the 20% (it is plenty dark), so I will get this worked out soon.1999 Firebird 3800 II
--Flowmaster 80
1996 Mustang GT *SOLD*
--Pulleys, H pipe, Flowmaster 40\'s, Ford Racing clutch
1998 Camaro 3800 II *SOLD*
--Cutout, SLP CAI, Whisper Air Lid, K&N Filter, SS rims

I had my windows tinted a couple weeks ago to 20%. It looks very nice. Dark enough during the day and black at night, specially when I put the t-top shades in. It looks lighter when I remove them.2002 Arctic White Firebird W68
Installed: FTRA, Carbon Fiber Whisper Lid, K&N Filter, Transgo Shift Kit, Corvette Servo, 160º Thermostat.
Appearance: Potenzas RE750 245\'s, 3M Tint 20% All Around, Clear Corners.
FOR SALE: HPP3
