Hood painting & wheel question

Hi everyone

I searched and have been looking around for a while on getting an ss style hood. I found one i could get for around 500. Now i went around getting quotes for paint. I know red is more money then some other colors, but i havent found anyone for less than 500 paint/labor.

From what i have seen people usually pay 200-300 or so. Is the color difference that different in price.

On a side note, i have looked at the rivet motorsport c6 and z06 wheels and really like them. Has anyone seen zr1 or c5 with the same rivet style?

If these have been asked many times before i apologize in advance.

Alot of Painting and Bodywork materials have gone up in price just like everything else in the past 6 months. Different shops do things different ways so the prices will very the best thing to do is shop around until you find the cheapest price and go with it.
To answer your question about the price, yes red paint will definatly jack up your estimate.
