  • PAGING: T-top Converters!!!!

Well, choosing Speed Automotive turned out to be a horrible mistake to get my t-top kit. 2 or so months hae past and still nothing, I call once a week and just get dumb excuses about them being able to ship to Canada. Anyways, I'm going to cancel the order wiht them because I've got a lead on a doner car here in Toronto. I just need a list of all the parts needed. MTMike, I know you sent me a list before but I got rid of it when I ordered the kit. So if anyone can give me a complete list of what I need (right sown to the last nut and bolt), it would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    -Andrew

That sucks man.... I had good results w/ S/A but I live in the states too. They did forget to send me 2 parts with the kit and it took them over 3 weeks to get that out to me but they finally did.

Parts list from the kit I got from Speed:
    • Both tops
    • The rubber weather stripping from both sides
    • The center hold-down 'rail'
    • The mounting/lockdown brackets from all 4 corners
    • Plastic A-Pillar trim from both sides
    • Plastic trim for rear mounting bracket
Stuff needed that speed didn't provide:
    • Headliner
    • Windshield perimiter trim

    Good luck!

    -Mike

Yeah nver buy anything from Speed Automotive. I purchased a TA hatch from them and while I got it for a good price it took about 1 month after I paid for it to get it, even then I had to email them quite a few times to ask where it was.

Oh, and don't forget the storage racks and shades if you plan to use either of those.
