I would just clean em and paint em chrome. They don't have to look good, they just have to get you through the winter. I still have my stock 5 stars and they will soon be going back on the car with some new winter tires to keep my zo6s clean over the winter.

If not, I'd paint them a solid, uniform color and atleast make them look good (maybe a glossy black or chrome)
