I got a 95 3.4 camaro. I hit a guard rail hyrdoplaning 2 weeks ago. The dent will be easy for me to get out, but I'm gonna have a problem finding the paint for my car. Some paint shops use a scanner that will actually scan the paint and then the paint guy will make the color. How reliable is the scanner? Is there a better alternative? I want as close to exact color as the car as possible. I don't want to waste money on paint that isn't even the same color as my car. Can anyone help me? Thanks. :(

Heh, thats my car.
The color is quasar blue, and you can mainly tell if its blue during the day, but under like parking lights at night you get purple around the edges and stuff. Very close to subaru WRX blue, but a little darker.
YOu dont really need to tell them that its Quasar Blue, they will match it. The body shop where i got my body work done matched my side perfectly. I cant even tell at all, and im anal about my car.
