Follow up the chamois with some detailer spray, it will remove any waterspots or streaks. It'll also be easier to wash next time CAMAROS

I use Zaino car wash, and then take the nozzle off the hose and go over the whole car. This leaves less water on the car. I used to use the waterblade but after I got a huge long scratch across my hood I dont use it anymore. I use a cloth diaper to dry it off and also use one to wash it. Less particles will cling to it unlike the lambswool ones. Then I use Z5 then Z6 or just Z6 if I'm not polishing. :D2000 Pewter Metallic Formula M6

My 2000 Formula

I use the wall mart car wash stuff, it works great. I try to wash it later at night when the sun is setting or before the sun gets up enough to dry it before I do.
After I rinse it off the last time I have one of those water blades, I typicaly use that on the windows and hood, then I will go around with a towil and just whipe it down the rest the way.

I wash my car in my drivway most of the time. Here are the things i use to wash the car.
-Wal-Mart car wash stuff (it's the blue one with a red car on the bottle).
-California Waterblade
-Chamoi
-Mothers Detailer Spray
-3 Brushes (1 for the paint, 1 for the wheels, 1 for the tires - I DO CLEAN THESE BRUSHES VERY WELL EACH TIME AFTER USE)
-Silicone Spray (for the grille, and everything else that is black like the wiper arms, etc, it keeps them BLACK)
-bucket
-hose and spray nozzle
Here's what I do....
I start with the top of the car first. Use the brush, etc. Then goto windshield, then hood, then rear deck, then sides of the car, then the bumper.
Make sure to spray off all the soap after you finish each part so it doesn't dry on the car.
Then go over it with the waterblade, then use the chamoi to get everything that the waterblade left.
Then do the wheels and tires with the brushes.
After the car dries, I usually do the mothers detailer spray to make everything look clean for a while. Also I do the silicone spray and spray it on a cloth then go over the grille and the wiper arms, the black thing in front of the wipers. It keeps them black and shining very well
The detailer spray sure does keep the car looking clean for bit longer if you do it.
