I have been searching all around and couldn't find many pix of c5 gunmetal rims on camaros. I was looking at these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
and wondered what they would look like on my 99 white camaro. I was thinking of getting racing stripes in a close to gunmetal color. So what to all you think and do you have any pics. Also what tires whould fit with above rims?
thanks!
Hey those kinda look like mine just a lil' darker.
No, you won't need to upgrade shocks or springs I believe the 98's you DON'T have to grind down the wheel bearing, so you should be ok like that. It should pretty damn good on a white maro'.
someone on here had gunmetal Z06's on a white camaro, nice picture on a bridge with a cityscape in the background, and it looked amazing. C5's, i dunno, but the Z06's would look friggin awesome
ok well staring to get alittle turned off by the gunmetal, cuz I don't see me getting stripes. I definatly want c5's but am leaning towards chrome or silver. Anyone know about the quality of the wheels the guy in the above link sells. He has silver and chrome c5's and they go for around 500ish shipped, and I get a buddy who works in the sears auto place who can hook me up with tires and balancing.
thanks
ok did some quick fotoshop work, tell me if this changed anyones minds, cuz it is looking pretty sweet to me. tell me what you think. www.wallyville.net
cooler with the stripes, but pretty as is.
I dont know, compared to the white car the wheels seem dirty, like no one cleans the brake dust off of em. I think chromed c5s would look better than gunmetal, but thats just my opinion

thanks alot for the pic of the camaro over the city. Well I saw a vette with chrome c5's. They were gorgeous and spinning that hipno-tized me. So I'm definatly gonna get chrome c5's. either 18's and 17's or 18's all around. Thanks for all the input and pix. I'll put up pix when it's done.
You guys rule!
I talked to a guy and he said that putting the 17s and 18s only look good on the corvette because the corvettes bigger on one side. but for the firebird and camaro's it would look goofy. Go with just one size
