Question About Corner Lights

Would it be illegal if I removed the bulb and/or painted the amber/red side bumper plastic light area to match my car?

I absolutely hate when my lights are on and there is an amber and red light on the side, it takes away from the body I think.

Any thoughts?

now your rear corners? the little red lights that are always on when your lights are on, those you could paint and probably get away with, but they are still there for a reason, and im sure its still illegal.
