  • Taillight covers

I have 2 questions regarding taillight covers:

What brand is most durable. I had a pair I got from EBAY that absoulely sucked. For some reason they never stayed on. I used some velcro to hold it on, but they still didn't look that good. I've seen some covers that are molded really well with the taillight.
What do you guys think of the Bowtie taillight covers? If I had those painted the color of my car, do u think it would look good? Sorry for such a long post.

When i had taillight covers I heated up the plastic clips until the were flexable and push them down farther onto the light. Made them tighter and they were not loose after that. Still came off and went on pretty easily and stayed tight

i have had two sets of blackouts, the first set someone tried stealing, so they broke off and they left them on the ground, so i went and bought another pair, then while driving one of them flew off, so after spending mucho dinero i said F@*K it and bought vht blackout paint, which i love looks way better and no one can take it!!! lol i would go with that

So, AVS or GTS... is one better than the other?

I have GTS sitting in my room waiting to be installed. I have the taillight, headlights, and front turn single covers. I ahve yet to install them I"m blieve I'm gonna have my body man figure out some kind of metal bracket that will hold them down. ON the rears I"m gonna see if the can rivet some kind of meatle strap fromt he top of the cover around the lense and down to the bottom. And on the front I'm gonna see if he can make a braket that can rivet to the front bumper and have some kind quick disconnect to the lense held on by like come kind of cotter pins or clips of some kind. And on the blinker cover I think I"m just gonna go with the double sided tape.

I had AVS and they made a dent in my tail light, so I got GTS which are alot better IMO.. I guess the heat wasnt escaping when I had the AVS on there and it sucked the lense in..
