Heres my goal, get the car to look as smooth and flowing as possible. I will be doing immense body work this winter on my car while doing an engine swap, so heres my idea.

Is it possible to (using fiberglass most likely) fill in the gap between teh trunk and the spoiler(everywhere), cover up where the sail panel is so that its level to the rest of teh car, fill in the gap from the quarter panels to the roof, also the seem running across teh roof. Of course it will have to be an extremely detailed job to get everything tolook smooth and get it all level, but i've got time and experience with fiberglass.

Are there any reasons why i shouldn't do this?

The car is also going to have shaved door handles and locks, so really its jsut a question about whether frome/body movement will cause the fiberglass to crack.

    thanks

i want to do that with my spoiler too, i talked to someone that does body work, he said he wouldnt do all that to a daily driver cuz of the possibility of it cracking, but def on a show car or one that isnt drivin much

i would be afraid of it cracking too... maybe it's like a sidewalk--they put the creases every few feet for a purpose. when the earth shifts, the concrete will crack alone the creases instead of all over the place.

talk to a good bodyshop and ask if any bad can come of it if you were to do that to a daily driven car.

it would most likely be daily driven, but only during the summer months, once the temps get below 70 it will be stored.

Personally i dont think it would crack where the quarter panel meets the roof b/c its already one piece of metal, or atleast i believe it is. Anyone know?

i might try a test once ig et the engine in it and take it for a test drive, i'll find something that will stick in there, but stay hard and be able to be taken out. i'll find soemthing to use...
