Anyone have a bra or front end cover for their car?

It seems like my hood paint has been taking a beating here recently. I've thought about putting a bra or something on it. Thoughts?

Fender cracked, bumper cracked, spider webbing... hood is fine... hence why I didn't want the hood part of the bra on... doesn't look bad except i miss my front GFX

I dont have one, but I just got the front end repainted and the thought had crossed my mind.

They are pretty ugly though, I was wondering about those clear front end covers that they make.. I dont know if y'all know what I'm talking about, but its like saran wrap for your car. Its all custom fit and costs beaucoup $$..

I have a bra on mine now for about 18 months.. I got into a crash last year and my bumper is really messed up.. I bought a 70.00 Le Bra for it and it hides everything.. I like it but on the 1st I am getting my WS6 hood and new bumper painted so The Bra is comming off.. By the way my new bumper cost 424.00 from the dealership..

Oh god, i hate people with bras on there car, makes it look stupid and who are you saving the paint for? the next owner? Ive painted my front end 4 times in 3 years and i rather spent 2k on paint then $100 on a dumb bra. I have never seen the real purpose for having a Bra on a car. It will destroy your paint! Any little loose spot in the bra will flap at highway speeds, causing it to rub against the paint of your car and then rub the paint right off. I had one on my 86 T/A that needed a paintjob after having a bra installed for a year. I will not buy one anymore [img]graemlins/thumbsdown.gif[/img]

Car Bras to cover up DAMAGE.

i'm putting a car bra on mine next week. I ordered a covercraft one from jegs.

in my personal opinion, CoverCraft and PerfectFit car bras look the best on our cars.

Bra's do look good on some cars, you just need to keep them clean, and on some cars it makes them look more intimidating. I planned on putting a bra on my car since day 1 no matter what anyone else may think about car bras. I have a reason to right now, but even after I get my front clip fixed on the bottom, i'll be putting the bra on it again because it's part of the appearance of the car.

some cars look good with bras, some don't. it just depends on the car. saying that car bras just plain suck is stupid and an unintelligent comment.

i have one on my camaro, its just the kind that covers the hood and i think it loosk nice.

I dont leave it on a lot, just like a week out of the month then i get bored of it and put it on.

Well, I spent $80.00 on a LeBra, got it home, put it on, and it looked like *** . Returning it in the morning. I can't use my gfx with it either.

I said i got into a accident thats why the bra is on it.. I hated it at first then I took off the light covers and it looks real good.. I spray it with tire wet and it is shinny as hell.. I also said I have a WS6 hood and a new bumper so I dont really care about the paint on the hood or bumper.. As a matter of fact all I do is take the bra on the hood off when I was my car and the paint looks as good as the rest of the car.. I have had it on since Feburary last year and It has grown on me.. I will have some Pictures tomorrow of it so you can see for yourself.. I will take off the bra and show you what the bumper looks like..

I had a Bra on my old car. The major problem that when you remove the bra, the paint underneath looks new, but the rest of your car has faded.
Try this for a week. Cut a small piece of Chamois, tape it to a spot on your front bumper. After a week, take it off, and look at the nice clean spot surrounded by dirt.
The same thing happens when you leave a potted plant on the back pourch for a year.

I understand using it to cover up damage, but please, please, think of your car.
