Let me rephrase that for you, I never have seen an LS1 car with neons. The only ones I have seen with strobes were pace cars.

I hardly ever see anything with neons here, ive prob seen 4 cars in 3 years and i go to all the local car shows and get togethers, Guess its not a real growing trend here.

i just put on my undercar lights... i got the led lights. theyre pretty cool, i can aim where i want my lights on the street, unlike with neon tubes that emit the light evenly in all directions. i direct my lights a little away from the car so it gets more of a concentrated beam on the street. id highly recommend the led undercar kit. bought em cheap on ebay... brand new $155 shipped.

Is that LED kit the PlasmaGlow one?

I have blue ones under my car, and have never had any legal trouble with them. My tubes show, and I was told that that is the only reason I could get pulled over with them.

How come so many people pull out the "rice" comments about neons? It was a show car mod before companies started mass producing them. If anything, they are just another one of the many appearance mods available for our cars.

I haven't seen any LS1 cars with neons yet, but I'm sure there are a few. I have seen a couple LT1 cars with them.

I've had my UB kit on for about 8 months now, and I've never had any legal trouble with them. Driven right in front of a couple of officers, too.

the LEDs are pretty bright in my opinion. i have the lite glow ones... as opposed to plasma glow. i like em also cuz it gives you the option of 10 different light patterns the lights "dance". if someone were to ask me which to buy (neon or led undercar kit), id say led for sure.

I've seen more LS1's with neons than any other model F-Body... WS6 T/A owners like to put them in their hood nostrils!

I have mixed opinions about neons on cars... it really depends on the setup. If I can see the neon tubes, I think it looks stupid. Hide the tubes and get the light to glow soft, wide, and evenly then it looks good IMHO.

I personally will never put them on my car, but like to admire others as long as they meet my "looks good" requirements! ;)
