  • 93-97 tailights on a 2000 camaro

Ok so i see the difference between the two types of tail lights and on the different models. What i want to know is if the old style tail lights can be switched out and put on a 2000 camaro? I really do like the older style better. Or could i paint it like the old style but i think that would be weird looking.

Sometimes I like mine (stock 97 (new style)), then sometimes I see a 93-96 style and think, damn those are nice. Maybe I should do one of each?
LOL ... to each their own ... I'd say stick with what you have and spend the dough elsewhere.

the new ones are so much better IMO. the only tail lights i would ever change to are these. however these bastards cost alot for just tailights

I changed to the old taillights on my 02 SS. I prefer the old lights much more than the new ones. To me, the old lights flow better with the lines of the car. The lights take some modification to make fit. The holes for the light sockets are different sizes, (the older ones being smaller). You should use the older wiring harness to, but I didn't.

93-96 tail lights you mean ;)

It's possible like 4thgen said. Opposite of switching from 93-96 to 97+ I would assume. You should change the harness, I don't see how it would work otherwise but guess it's possible

I want the euro lights *homer drool*

I prefer my blindingly bright amber euro blinker to the common chevrolet "don't notice me blink" red.

Ya I don't like the new ones too much. I like how the backup light goes with the line of the trunk in the back if you know what I mean.
