  • I hate black Cars

Ok, ive just spent 3 hrs cleaning my car and it looks just like it did when i started  what the hell does it take to get a black car clean, I have over $100 in car wash stuff{Soap,Wax,Towels,Sponges, etc} that I use and I go out and wash it 10 times and it loks the same when im done. I use to get it detailed every weekend but since i put my clear lenses and altezzas in if i take it to a detailer I get it back with all my lights blown from the water{Dont say use rtv silicone because ive used at least 4 tubes on the front lights and they still leak}. Im jsut mad im tired of washing ym car for no reason.

Get a california car duster and a car cover. That will help it stay clean longer.

I TOTALLY understand. I live in the Central Valley in CA and it's always hot and dusty here. My last two cars were black as well as this new one. I spent about 3 hours too washing it yesterday. Took it out today.....dirty! But I agree. A California duster and cover are a best defense. After I wash and wax my car, I always dust it afterwards then cover it. Then touch it up with Meguiars quick detail every morning after it's cooled. Black is beautiful, and it takes guts to own a black car but man.......for those two minutes when it's clean, it sure is worth it!

maybe but when u use soap to wash the car, it makes the dust stick to ur car more..... jsut a note.... i dont use any chemicals on my car and i wash it twice a week....

ok, heres what I say, I wax my car anywhere from 2-4 times a week, Body clay is a must ( do it once good and ur fine, Get the meguires 3 step ( wax ) treatment, it says step 1-3 on the bottles. Do all three steps followed by meguires Gold glass wax, then hand wax with Canuba hand wax evenly from then on out. I can go weeks with out washing my car, its silver =) but on my Black solara this cycle turned it into a good week shine before it needed to be dusted. when washing I use the blue Meguires soad ( our foamiest soap ever) and a soft brush. Nothing sticks to my car. Nothing. I went threw this NASTY road slug puddle the other day, and I let the gung sit on the car for 2 days. I went up to it with my finger and in one swipe it was gone. I do detailing for side cash- and Id say for best look, get a really sudsy soap , and some good waxing and it will last. Your clear coat is probly in **** shape, most blacks are. ( cause they soak up so much sun.)

i used to buy that Meguires blue stuff and it was horrible compared to the Armor All car wash then that car was is WAY worse then the Zaino car wash, if your gonna buy an on the shelf wax buy Meguires #26, its supposed to shine just as good as the gold class but it lasts longer, but if you really want shine and durability, go with Zaino all the way!!!!i put three total coats of Zaino on spring break and water still beads just as good as it did when i first washed it, even on the rear bumper!!
