Is it bad to wash your car at these? I usually rinse it with the spray nozzle, then do suds with the brush, then soap it and rinse it again. I then towel-dry my car with nice cotton towels. Is any of this going to make my paint job look bad after awhile, or is it a good routine to wash my car like this?

I got to the do it your self ones. I dont use the brush though because my dad used it ones on his old truck and it got a big scratch in it. Someone before him must of used it and used the brush to get mud or something off. So no brush for me!! do NOT EVER EVER EVER use the brush...all your doin is scratching the hell out of ur paint...believe me, done it before and i was so disgusted afterwards...use a 100% cotton mitt to wash it with and dry with made in USA 100% cotton towels or an absorber...i think im gonna go the extra mile and buy a leaf blower to dry my car with, it'll be faster and leave no water spots...Black 1998 Pontiac Firebird A-4 swap
271.4rwhp/259.4rwtq NA
13.30@102.44
www.freewebs.com/wickedsix98

I LOVE my absorber!
I wouldn't use the brush either. Good way to scratch the paint.1997 Supercharged Firebird
14.01@99.7mph 2.1 60ft.

Mines a '94 black camaro, I'm 2nd owner & the 1st owner never took real good care of it. The paint has a few chips and a couple door dings. I just use the sit and spin at Texaco for $5 or the drive threw for $10. Car already had swirls & couple small scratches. Then I hand clean my rims & tires then use a quick wax spray to finish it off. Not a million $ shine, but looks good for a couple days.
