i wish i had the pics that this one guy had of his Camaro switches. i took that little holder next to the cigarette lighter out and cut out the back. i took a peice of plastic for a old Pontiac door panel that was busted and cut out a square about 4" by 4". then i sat and sanded it down until it fit in the front opening of the holder. then i measured out 3 spots for toggle switch's, bought the toggle's, then drilled them out. Then i ran fused wires through my firewall up and under the center counsil. I hooked the switches to the grounds so you can get a smaller toggle.i grounded the wires out under the counsil and TADA. put it back together and i have 3 toggle swtiches that look REAL nice in my car. i ran my neon undercar lights to it and my signal wire for my amp. so i can turn that off to. now i need to find something else to hook up to my other switch. Hope that help's. as soon as i get pics up i'll send them to you. sorry it's so long ;)

I wanna see pics of that too, when you get some. You're talking about on the 97+ console, I assume? I wanted to put my switch in that little change holder thing, too, when I got my new console. It's just hanging down through that tape holder in my console.

Now, about the wiring, try the diagrams at Carl's site: http://www.cmeglow.com/My%20Webs/wiringdiagrams.html
And if you need any questions answered, come talk to the guys in the wiring forum at ICUSTRN.com

As soon as i get pics i'll put it up. They look really nice that way. almost like they should be there. i really enjoyed it when they were in. it took me a while to do it but i've had all winter to do it to. i could have did it in one day if i tried. i'm looking for pics that this one guy had. that's where i got the idea from. I used to have mine next to my seat on the floor but i got sick of that and wanted it to look nice. yes i'm talking about the 97-02 counsil's. and that so far is the best place to put them from pics i've seen. you can also put LED lights above them to that light up when they are on. I didn't do that to mine but i might yet.

I have 2 swiches under my dash for my neons. One is lighted for the exterior neon and the other is not lighted for the interior neons.. I wish it wouldnt be cold here so I can install the new neons I have and get some good pictures of them!

I actually wired the switch into my ashtray. I cut a hole in the ashtray and moved the switch into it. Its easy access and I just put the lid down on the ashtray so the switch isnt visable. Worked out really good
