If your wheels are like mine, I would really work to get them clean, as I've had my car for 11 months and I'm already seeing signs of rust from all the salt. What makes matters worse is everything has been frozen at my place for weeks and I have'nt had a chance to work on 'em.
I would try using alot of wheel cleaner, a soft bristle brush and alot of elbow grease.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/sac2165\" target=\"_blank\"> CAMAROS</a>

When it gets a bit warmer out in Spring (can't wait!!), take each wheel off, clean it REAL good, and re-coat them with Clear Coat. You can do it now, but for me it's too cold to be working on cars if it isn't necessary. Buy a can of Clearcoat Spray from your local auto shop and coat your rims. It makes them alot easier to clean afterwards...ALOT easier!

Hey Hockeyman,
Would you suggest clear coating aftermarket wheels or just the stocks? Can you tell any difference if they've been clearcoated>?

Aftermarket Chrome Rims I wouldn't Clearcoat, but if it was the stock rims that have the aluminum look, then I would suggest it. I have noticed a difference in the look of my rims since I clearcoated them, they shine alot better and they are also super-easy to clean. Before, I used tons of elbow grease to get them clean. Now, a little spray and a hose makes them shine like new.
Just to let you know, I Clearcoated the whole exterior of the rim, including the back underside where the calipers are closest to (that's best I can describe it).
