On chrome tips.. is ok to sand and paint the inside with High temp paint? and possibly send on the tips where they do have the small amounts of rust?

I would try some fine steel wool on the small rust spots, some metal polish, and then some high temp clear coat.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/sac2165\" target=\"_blank\"> CAMAROS</a> -

Most grocery stores should have it. Look in the aisle with the laundry soap and it should be near where the cleansers are like Comet, Bon Ami etc.
