Removing small amounts of rust

On chrome tips.. is ok to sand and paint the inside with High temp paint? and possibly send on the tips where they do have the small amounts of rust?

I would try some fine steel wool on the small rust spots, some metal polish, and then some high temp clear coat.

Go to any grocery store and get "Bar Keeper's Friend" for like $3. I used that stuff to take rust off exhaust tips before and it works great.

Most grocery stores should have it. Look in the aisle with the laundry soap and it should be near where the cleansers are like Comet, Bon Ami etc.

I bought stainless steel tips and they're not supposed to rust, why don't you go this route?
