  • Door panels?

Does anyone know for sure if Trans Am panels will work w/ a camaro? I know they are similar, but IMO the trans am door panels look better.

Good question. Wish I could help but that thought has never crossed my mind.

          No, they won't.

          I have a 96 Firebird, a good friend of mine has a 94 Camaro.
We've both had the door panels off.
On the inner door skin, the manufacturers name can be seen (Pontiac or Chevy) indicating that the panels are specific to Firebird or Camaro.
The securing screws for the door panel are loacted differently on the two cars - yeah, thanks GM - so, even though the hole that the doors fill is the same shape, the door panels are not interchangeable.

There's a few people on here who have swapped them, it can be done.

It can be done, but I've always been told putting Bird door panels on a Camaro is a tricky fix.

It can be done, but the panels and door's have to be modified. Search for it on ls1tech, ls1.com, or camaroz28.com.... I have seen in on one of those sites.

it cant be that hard. i mean drill a couple holes. if you got a drill and a dremel you can do almost anything.
