I have a silver '02 Firebird, and there is that italicised "Firebird" right behind the front wheels, down low. They are the same color as the car. I think it would look hot if they were a different color, say deep red or so. What do youse guys think, I'm sure it's been done. If not red what color? Can I scuff it up, and paint it on the car with a small brush? I would like to paint just the surface, not the insides of the letters. Let me know, Paul.....

this guy has the vinyl overlay your looking for. Its toward the bottom of the page in the firebird section. His prices include shipping, and if he doesn't have what you need he can probably make it.1994 Arctic white, 3.4l, 5spd

http://www.cardomain.com/id/montytrmpt

Another good one is autografics.com, $14.99 for the pair. http://www.autografics.com/pages/birds4.htm
Its a little more if you want the "special" vinyl. Also they have I think a 7 year warranty.1999 Firebird

Forget those overlays. I tried 2 different sets of them, and both of them started peeling off within 6 weeks. Look around on Ebay and you can get new authentic GM emblems for about $40 already painted. I put on a set of black ones not long ago, and it looks great.2000 3.8L Firebird, Silver Metallic

\"Yes, London. I ordered some of the rear emblems off ebay for about $10. They've been on for almost a year and a half now with no signs of peeling and I wash my car alot too. I'll post a link if I can find it. I think it's really important to clean the surface well before you apply them with alcohol or something like that.Old Car = 12.679 @ 106.5 on 150 dry shot.

Yes, I put my CAMARO letters on the back of my car about a year ago, and they still havent peeled off. You have to make sure and clean every single spot with rubbing alcohol so that no wax, cleaners, or dirt is under it. Because if there is you will know pretty quickly!

I agree with the last two posts, and I got a lot of decals too, been there from 1 to 3 years, only replaced the air lid because I got a new air lid. (old one is for sale). And I wash my car a lot. Alcohol to get rid of dirt and oil, be careful if you are using acetone, and get out the hair dryer and heat em up.
And if you are paying $7/letter, you are paying wayyyyyyy too much!Zaino; FireBatCave Decals; Red Inside

K&N Filter & Lid; Removed MAF screen; FRA; Raised Air Box; 180°F Stat; BMR STB; 3\" Catco & S-pipe; Borla Cat-Back; O2 Sim; HPPIII; NGK TR55s; Taylor 8mm wires

http://www.cardomain.com/id/cbass300
