Racing stripes on Metallic Green

[97V6Camaro]

What color racing stripes have you seen on metallic green Camaro's that look good? I was throwin the idea around with my dad last night, who is an automotive painter [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img] Hes done stripes on Camaro's many times before, but wants something to look off of (designs). Could someone pull up some pictures, as i cannot seem to find cars like mine with stripes [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

I was thinking either silver or black. I am skeptical on the black though, because the roof, mirrors, and panels by the windows are already black.

Help with this would be much appreciated.

My opinion; If you choose any color other than black, your car will start looking like an easter-egg. I'm saying this because your roof bar and mirrors are already accented in black, and black stripes will just add to the accents with reasonable taste. *Like I said, this is just my opinion!*
The mirrors and roof bar are painted the same color on my car all-around, so I had a little wider of a choice when it came to the color of the stripes, BUT I still went with black.

I see what ur saying. Im pretty sure im going with black now anyways, after talking to some people about it. They said things along the same lines as you, thinking it would look tacky and take away from the car itself.

When i get it done, ill post some pics here of the prep work and after shots. Like i said, daddy is a painter :cool:

nice car man, looks a little like mine. I've thought about doing stripes in silver or black like you said. I would go with black on your car since your mirrors and roof are black, it would match nice. post pics when you get it done, should look sweet
