another one of my bulbs went out and ill be darned if i buy another $30 light. (the fourth one replaced). I am not looking to go fancy or anything, just brighter and cheaper than $25-30 replacements.

Do you guys think I should go with low beams only?

    Low beams for now?

Or just buy the whole kit.

It includes all the lights and should just be a buy and replace thing.

Also, any feedback on people who have these kits would be very helpful thanks.

Cant "make your own" -- all you can do is pop out the bulb and glue in a new one. With that you risk major water leakage. This setup allows you to do it RIGHT. I know a guy with this setup and he loves it. I'll be doing it when its come to replace my lowbeams.

I've had my own home-made kit installed for two years now and not a single problem with water leaking into the bulbs. Use a high temp silicone to secure the bulb, and you won't have to worry about water.

what is the best bulbs I could get for these lights, besides the ones they will give me.

ALSO A HUGEST BIGGER THAN GIANT QUESTION????

Can I swap my low beam lights and put them where the high beams are and put the high beam lights where the low beams are. I think it would make curbs more visible and turns alot safer. thanks

I like the Sylvania Silverstar Bulbs. They seem to give the best lighting.
Yes, you can switch the bulbs, but it's just gonna be like driving with your highbeams on. The low beam bulbs have a painted cap on them to lessen' the brightness. The high beam bulbs are all clear glass bulbs with no painted cap.

i mean put the low beam bulbs and plugs to where hte high beam ones would usually go. that. then adjust them low and adjust the highbeams high.

I think you know what i am getting at, i just want the middle two lights to shine lowbeam lights at the lowbeam adjustment. i think it will work. only one way to find out and that is to try it. i will do that very soon. well as soon as i get the lights.

Wow! Thanks for posting this... been looking for these. Also, does anyone know if there are any decent aftermarket fog lights available? I'd like ones that are similar to the stock shape.

All I did was get a Wagner housing, buy some Silver stars, twist out the old bulb, pop in the new. It seals itself right up. How do I know this? Whenever I take out the bulb to replace it, I can hear air rushing back into the housing, so I know that it's pretty damn close to a vacuum in there.

My firend has also had Wagners, but for longer than me, and he has never had a problem with water leakage or any kind of moisture inside the housing, and he has changed his bulbs a couple of times over the years.

Just make sure the bulb is in the housing all teh way, and the O-Ring isn't flawed.

They have them in AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts here. You can find them online too. It replaces the housing you have now...just take out the old, and pop in the new. Very simple.

also, what about replacement reverse lights. I want to have brighter reverse lights so do you think autozone or shucks would have brighter replacements?

also, i talked the guy down on eurolights.com to $145 shipped for all four. He said $10 more for white/super really bright or whatever lights. i think i will offer $150 for all shipped and see if he'll take it. if i go this route i will save on shipping and handling from the guy on ebay.

is eurolights.com a reputible company to buy from, like will i get good parts from them?
