I was riding in my friend's porsche the other day and i noticed he had a black suede headliner. It looks really good and I was wondering how hard it would be to do on my bird. I have T-tops so there is basically no headliner anyway but I think it would be really sweet if I could redo it in black suede and also do around the visors. Do you guys think it would be hard to do? Has anybody here done it? any info will be apreciated. Thanks

yup, I did it...click updated pics to see pics of the headliner and recovered visors with screens in em...I also recovered the door panels...very classy, I love it. and discreet too nobody notices till they touch it and then they fall in love :D ...cost me about 300$ for the material and to have the visors resewn.

That's looks awesome. How exactly did you do the headliner part and was it hard (details please). I did my door panels with white leather and I am slowly re-doing my entire interior.Garrett

2001 WS9 W68 Blackbird A4
Custom Turbo...Chrome ZO6...WS9 Hood...
Custom Leather Interior...
much much more...see website

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/637795/

just ripped off all the panels around the headliner, used some 3m fabric glue, sprayed it, let it dry just incase I didnt want it to be wet and ruin the new suede, got tacky and slowly but surely I got it smoothed on there...since you did your door panels you should have no problem doing this, its basically the same, just a little more fragile...

Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
By: Hib Halverson
At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 11:30 PM
