How in the **** do you get the headrests off a 99 firebird seat? I have full seatcovers to put on but I don't know how to get them off. Do you pry up the plastic circle at the base of the metal supports and release them somehow????? Anyone???

haven't had a reason to take em off yet. Probably a E or C clip holding them in place. I'll take a look at mine after work and get back to you2002 Firebird Y87 & W68, A4, Magnaflow Exhaust, Whisper lid, K&N, 3.42 gears, LSD
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/770634/1

The only way to get them off it to actually take the material off the back and get to the insides where there is a clip/bar. I was going to have my interior redone and thats what the upholsterer told me.Instead I just bought some GM stock material and had two pieces custom embroidered and made covers myself.
