A few appearence mods ive done

Over the last couple weeks ive been getting some little stuff here and there heres some stuff i did:

Daul gauge pod with tach volt meter and a adjust shiftlight. the gauges light up purple too! but that tach wont work.

you added two gauges that you already have in your factory cluster, and a slp banner showing the fact that you have an slp shift knob....k, I hear a few ricer comments on their way...all but the floor mats it looks good.

my opinion is the same as Nikon's..i do think it LOOKS good..but i woulda went with a banner that has a bit more to do with your car...and why double up on the gauges?...even if they're just for looks people will question them because they'll see the same ones right next to those on your dash...i woulda went with an air/fuel and tranny temp or something..but LOOKS wise (with a nice cat back ;) ) i think the idea looks good

suggestions: try to find some gauges you dont allready have (there are plenty of options, and you can get decent money for those if you sell them)... and you might want to find them in black face instead of white, since thats whats in your main cluster

slp banner looks fine. but seems out of place with no parts to back it up. if you like it, leave it. maybe you could replace the Racing floor mats with some SLP ones, at least then you got a theme going [img]smile.gif[/img]

The reason i got the gauges is because i wants them. i wanted the tach becuase the the factory tach lags alot. having a m5 thats a problem. i understand that you guys wouldnt know that being you have autos. i got the voltage meter cuz i got my stereo(im running 900 watts rms) now and it shows more exact voltage. i ahve no need for air/fuel ratio.

i didnt get the slp windsheild banner to show off the fact that i have a shift knob,wtf? thats lame. i got the slp windsheild banner cuz i like slp. i also plan on getting an slp loudmouth. so that way my windshield banner can show i got a shiftknob and a cat back WOW! i wasnt going to get one that says camaro too many people do that. and all the ricer ones with dragon and the ones that say stuff like "motion sickness" or "big spenda" are so gay.

i needed floor mats for winter and they were $20 bucks at walmart there were the only decent ones there. im not about to pay 70 bucks for slp floor mats.

i agree about the camaro banner..i had one on and took it off for the same reason..everyone has it...and the SLP loudmouth will go really well with the rest of your mods...if you get that..than i agree also with Loochy's idea of getting the floor mats to have the theme going on..that would be pretty cool

those floor mats wont last long..... but they doo look really great for a while... lol i liked them for the time i had them

i want my car to be all digital so i will have guages that are on my dash too.... i hate guessing were the voltage it at digital so so much better and much easier for me to see at a glance........ my eyes don't like line they blur when i look at them....

but is it not the truth?...Im not trying to rag, just being honest. but do you really want the loud mouth? doesnt sound to great on our cars, actually sounds like $hit. Just my opinion. The floormats won't last long, but you'll only need them for the winter...like you said. The SLP mats are WAY TOO much money for me, especially if you plan on getting dirty snow, road salt, etc all over them. I may just go to wallmart and get a set myself, and take my current mats out until spring.
I'm not into the pillar gages or carbon fiber stuff, but if you like it, more power to you! I have a few SLP emblems lying around, but don't want any more stickers on my car as-is.
As for the slp banner, I think it looks nice. I was considering a black banner, but they didn't have any for sale on Oct 9th in Englishtown NJ. Just as long as you stay away from the "Big-Booty-Toody, Phat's-Da-Peace-Man, Smoove-Ciminal", and my personal favorite, "Cop-Killah". <I approached that A**hole with lots of caution! Stay away from those banners and others like it, and your doin' alright.

i found some of the nicest floormats ever for like 10$... they fit the car perfectly and are very dark to match my interior, im gonna go back and buy about two more pair

i asked for a set of $10 floormats from walmart for christmas. :D

Not trying to rag, but I bought some $20 mats from wal-mart that had the chevy bowtie in the center. That's keeping a theme better than anything. The interior is tan leather, but all the bordering in the car is black...so black mats match every interior except for white. Plus the bowtie is universal since your car is a chevy.
