  • Well, after an hour, 2 beers, and some bilsters....

I have taken the side moldings, and the "Firebird"
off of both doors along with the most powerful glue I have ever seen. If anyone is thinking about doing this, I just peeled the emblems and moldings off of my car leaving a bunch of glue. I then took some WD-40, a toothbrush, and a couple plastic spoons ans went to work. Spray some WD on an area and let it sit for just a second. Then scrape of the glue the best you can. The plastic spoons worked GREAT at getting rid of some tough areas. GOOD LUCK!

you know mine peeled off really easily when I did them. I think my dealer used weak glue or something.

alcohol got off all residue for me.

WOW you people are doing it the extremely HARD way.

Ok for anyone wanting to do this the easy way heres how:

Take a blowdryer put it on medium heat heat the tape behind the molding a little and take some fishing line (what I used) and be sure to WARE gloves. Put the fishing lie behind the molding and go in a vertical motion all the way down the molding. It basically falles right off after that. Then I used some bug and tar remover comes right off, and did it in 30 min. max. Looks much better but I cant take the firebird logo off considering I have CE striped and it would look funny
                  I got stuff...<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum\" target=\"_blank\">http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum</a>

The only reason I would take mine off would be to replace them with the new Firebird emblems.
