Hey all, the headliner in my 95 bird is beginning to sag, and i am wondering how difficult it is to repair, or should i just have it professionally redone. also, my center console is $hit, and i'd like to know if the better looking/functioning 98+ will fit. Thanks

Here's a place that sells plastic headliners for our cars (with T-tops anyway)

As for the center console, I believe if you change the whole thing the 98+ should fit fine. The center dash didn't change so it should fit right under and I doubt they changed the mounting points.

That post talks about Camaro consoles. The Pontiacs are quite a bit different.

From what I've seen of pictures of 93-02 Pontiacs, the center dash layout (where the radio and climate controls are) did not change between those years, only the console between the seats. So there shouldn't be any "gap" like those Camaro owners were talking about between the bottom center of the dash and the top front of the console.

I never noticed that before, but it looks like you're right. I wouldn't have expected them to have different consoles. Guess I was wrong.

yeah, i noticed the gap in the camaro and knew i didn't want to put that one in, but i l;ike the way the console lid opens on the later model, not a real big fan of the swing out cup holder, though. anyway thanks for the help
