It still looks awesome!! the flames are rocking. Hopefully the new paint will be much more durable too, and not do all the things the Candy paints did that caused troubles. Good luck and nice job!

okay okay....Im really mad now.......as said earlier I've been sick so I havent paid any close attention to the car till yesterday. Well when I was detailing it I found this on the front drivers' side fender lip
I nearly fainted!! Obviously something happened to it and someone did a $hitty job of covering it! I know he had some helpers sometimes so thought they did it. Well I called him first thing this morning when he opened. I first asked him if he did have helpers....he tells me no. So I tell him about what I found on the car. He said, "Oh I did that. It happened when I was all done and was taking the tape off. Whoever did the repairs on your car from that accident (the one I had last March when that truck backed into me) they didnt sand it down and the paint pulled off"
Well I did have trouble with that area from the people that did the repairs last year but supposedly the repainted it.
Anyway he then says "I didnt have time to fix it." I said "why didnt you even tell me about it?" He says he "forgot"!!!!!!!!!!!   FORGOT.....FORGOT??????????? How can you forget when thats your line of business and with me being so picky and particular about my car?? ANd he didnt have time? He should've made time? Now I have to take it back again? NO way am I taking it back to him.....no way! I've had it with him.
Michelle, I haven't gotten any door dings at all. I'm sure that you do the same thing when I do while parking - find the most deserted and farthest away spot from __X__ and park there.
For the spoiler, I'm sure that you could get your body shop to have a WW one bondo'ed so that it flows evenly into the lines of the car and doesn't look like it is just stuck on with double-sided tape (which it is btw).
And for what I think, TA spoilers look amazing with the lines of the LS1 body style. One of the meanest looking cars I've ever seen was in the Wild Times 3 video was a lowered Formula WS6 (or Formy with WS6 hood) with the TA spiler. It looked amazing.
Anyways, I'm sure whatever you choose will have a lot of support behind it. Good luck

I dont know..my friend asked me if he works with sunglasses on and a 25 watt lightbulb in his shop!
I mean his business is body work and painting how could he let something go out of his shop like that? I'd be ashamed that happened and would only want my best work to show. I even told him I was in no hurry to begin with and said I could pick it up on the weekend. Him doing what he did just stinks and is very poor. Plus I found pieces of masking tape still on the car in 3 places including a big one under the door and the floor mats were all dirty :( ....oh and the wheel wells were coated with some thick cooked on dust :(
Jeez...crappy job, wheelwell screw-up, masking tape still in car, heavy cooked-on dust on wheels, etc. This guy would be having a conversation with my lawyer if I didn't get my money back. He's probably scamming someone else right now as we write this. It's just too bad that there are alot of reputable paint shops out there, and this guy gives alot of them a bad complexion.
Granted, he did a nice job on the part(s) I had seen in your pictures you first posted. It's the final inspection that counts, and he FAILED!
You are right, he should have found time to fix it, and the wheelwell thing is one hell of a screw-up! Tell him, "I FORGOT to mention, I'll see you in court!"
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
